VAR Furnace

Retech offers VAR furnaces ranging in capacity from laboratory to production units.

Some of the materials the VAR furnace can process are Titanium, Zirconium, Tantalum, Niobium, Titanium Aluminides, reactive and refractory metals including nuclear materials, high-temperature Ni/Co Superalloys, tool steel, spring steel, and other special stainless steels.

Retech continues to advance the historical VAR design with technological innovations and value engineering. Retech's VAR furnaces allow precise and repeatable weight monitoring coupled to a smooth and responsive electrode drive mechanism. Each of these features is controlled by an advanced state-of-the-art PLC computer based logic system.
