Career Posting – Sales Coordinator

Position Summary:
Performs administrative duties in support of the Sales Department.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

  • Manage department calendar and coordinate sales office support as needed.
  • Screen incoming calls and correspondence and respond independently or route accordingly when possible.
  • Arrange programs, events or conferences by arranging for facilities and caterer, issuing information or invitations, coordinating speakers and controlling event budgets.
  • Direct preparation of records such as agenda, notices, minutes and resolutions for department meetings.
  • Assemble, type, format and coordinate proposals and presentations from information generated by the sales staff.
  • Administer and maintain CRM database and reports.
  • Organize and manage Sales files on Retech server.
  • Run weekly, monthly quarterly and yearly reports as required.
  • Assist in coordinating travel plans and itineraries, compile documents for travel-related meetings and accompany supervisor when requested.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Associates Degree or equivalent.
  • Five (5+) or more years of related experience in a professional environment.

 

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

 

Mathematical Skills:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

 

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

 

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be proficient in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; Database software; Internet software; Manufacturing software, Microsoft Suite and Adobe.
