Retech offers VAR furnaces ranging in capacity from laboratory to production units. Some of the materials the VAR furnace can process are Titanium, Zirconium, Tantalum, Niobium, Titanium Aluminides, super alloys, reactive and refractory metals including nuclear materials. The advantages of the Retech VAR furnace is that it can produce ingots up to 40" in diameter to suit almost any customer need.
In addition to the durability of the piece of equipment, all assembly of the entire system including testing and debugging can be done at the Retech facility before shipping the unit anywhere in the world. This value added option saves significant time and money when compared to other systems where parts are collected from multiple vendors and then attempted to be assembled at the customer site. Every Retech system is built to assemble as efficiently as possible and the optional assembly at our plant ensures less time spent achieving start-up at a customer site.
