Rotating Electrode Gas Atomizer (REGA)

A Retech Rotating Electrode Gas Atomizer (REGA) combines crucible-less, induction melting of oxygen-sensitive metals and alloys with inert gas atomization for the production of high-purity powder across a wide range of specifications.

Designed to melt ingots ranging from 50 mm (2”) to 85 mm (3”) in diameter by 1 meter in length, the REGA provides exceptional flexibility to process specialty metals and reactive alloys. By eliminating crucible contamination and maintaining strict atmosphere control, this system delivers consistent particle size distribution, excellent sphericity, and exceptional purity for demanding powder metallurgy and additive manufacturing applications.
